“go back. again and again. to the places that heal and strengthen. cleanse and restore. to our natural power and memory.”
I remember summers in North Carolina picking peaches in our backyard, drinking sun tea out of mason jars, chasing butterflies with a net on a nature hike mission. We’d run barefoot through fields and ride our bikes down dangerously steep dirt road hills. Shorts and a tee were my everyday uniform. We were fearlessly, insatiably curious about the world. We’d sit on porches at dusk and wait for lightening bugs to appear. They and the house lights were our street lamps that told us it was time to hightail it to the house so mom could put you in the tub. She’d soap & scrub the dirt from behind ears and between toes, as big, brown child eyes sparkled with love and gratitude, while recounting to her the day’s adventures.
Here is where summer & I first fell in love.
Here is where I remember loving my mom so intensely it makes my eyes water.
Here is just one of my favorite places I sometimes go to retrieve adventure, wonderment and exhilaration.
See... time travel is easy. Start with whichever memory you like. Reach back, connect to the feeling. Bring it into the present. Feeling the feelings; see the details. This is how you manifest.
We have countless moments of joy, of love, peace and whatever else you need that you can choose from. The brain literally doesn’t know the difference between a memory, the now or a future projection.
The main point is to conjure the feelings that you want to have. Savor them, then toss them into the winds of your future where it’ll be waiting for you to grab onto it when it comes to pass in manifested form.
If you’re feeling shortage of anything in the moment, all you have to do is travel; go get it and bring it into your now. This works if you project forward as well, as long as you are unwavering and committed to the picture and the feelings it summons.
Peace, Love & Summer Sunshine!
